Temperature resistance: -40°C to +110°C
The protection class IP67 is defind in the norm IEC 60 529. A product with this protection class is protected against impacts of temporary dipping in water (30 min.). Typic situations are cleaning procedures at housings. The infiltration of damaging water quantity has to be excluded at dipping the housing for 30 minutes in water of 1 meter depth. The protection class IP67 comprises also testings of dust density of the product.
* Very easy assembly from only one side. It´s not necessary (as at cable fittings) to reach the other side for safing it with a counter nut.
* Significantly better at shortage of space. These grommets need much less space.
* Better ergonomic: wrists will be spared at assembly, because these grommets have not to be screwed.
* Significantly faster assembly, therefore less costs.
* No need of additional tools for assembly.
* The notch of the grommet is always closed until the membrane is punched out. If the cable feedthrough should take place at a later date there is no further blank plug as an interim solution necessary.
* The special design of these grommets attunes automatically to differnt material thickness. The „pop-out“ membrane attunes automatically to the cable.
